Pole Essentials (Level 1)

If you are a beginner and looking to enhance your pole skills then look no further, this is the class for you. In Pole Essentials you will learn the basic foundational pole movements in order to prepare you for the next level. These movements include but are not limited to; proper hand placement, spin moves, transitional combos, and how to maneuver around the pole in heels. During this class you will also experience a cardio induced warm-up tailored to conditioning your body for inversions and basic climbs. Followed by a tailored simple combo leading you to become more familiar with your body awareness around the pole. Heels are not required but highly suggested. Prerequisite: Pole Foundations workshop.

Pole Low Flow (Mixed Level)

This class focuses on the art of dance and low flow pole movements. You will learn a routine that improves your fluidity, builds endurance, and increases your strength. Choreography will be mostly base work leading to grounded flow, and some aerial transitions. Specific moves include but are not limited to low pirouettes, shoulder stands, clocks, air walks, and pole sits. Students will be encouraged to build confidence through learning different techniques in the art of flow and sensual movements. Prerequisite: Pole Foundations workshop.

Let’s Dance!

In this pole class you will be taught a short choreography that will allow you to embrace your own movement. This class will challenge you regardless of your level with plenty of foundational movements presented in unconventional combinations. This class is suitable for all levels! Prerequisite: Pole Foundations workshop.

Wake & Werk!

Rise and shine! It’s time to WERK! This class is 30 minutes of pole specific conditioning and 30 minutes of pole where we will learn a short tricks combo. It is truly the best of both worlds! This class is ideal for those who have some pole experience but can be tailored for first timers. Prerequisite: Pole Foundations workshop.

Pole Choreography

Pole Choreography 2000 2000 Emily Glaeser

This class will help you enhance your performance skills and express your creativity on the pole. Throughout the session, you’ll learn to combine spins, holds, and floor work into fluid sequences set to music, focusing on musicality, transitions, and storytelling through movement. Prerequisite: Pole Foundations workshop.

Pole Skills Level 1

This class will focus on foundational pole spins, floor moves, and holds from the floor, helping students build strength and confidence. Ideal for absolute beginners and those with some experience, this class offers a fun, supportive environment to explore pole dance. There are no prerequisites for this class.

Pole Level 1

Pole Level 1 is an entry-level class tailored for newcomers to pole dancing. Through this class, you’ll develop essential strength and techniques necessary for climbing and inverting. We’ll also focus on beginner spins, sits, and floorwork. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to explore choreography as we guide you through creating a short routine. Prerequisite: Pole Foundations workshop.

Pole Tricks and Combinations

Pole Tricks and Combinations 2500 1667 Emily Glaeser
This class will explore more challenging moves including pole handstands, inside and outside leg hands, and hand balances. We will also work on combining moves and shapes into sequences. Now that you have a solid climb and a basic invert from the floor, this class will help you master power spins and improve inversions (grounded and aerially).
Prerequisite: Pole Foundations, inversions, and climbing (aka Klimbing with Kat) workshops. Please visit the Workshops tab for workshop dates/times and to sign up.

Spin Pole

This class teaches you moves on the spinning pole. You will learn to control the spin, create fluidity, and hold shapes. You must have a solid climb to attend this class. Prerequisite: Pole Foundations workshop.

Pole-o-graphy

Pole-o-graphy 2500 1667 Emily Glaeser

Pole-o-graphy is choreography for pole! This intermediate level class will get your body moving with longer dance sequences that incorporate the floor and pole. Pole-o-graphy focuses less on individual moves/tricks, and more on being able to perform the movements together. It is recommended that students feel comfortable moving around the pole, and have had an introduction to basic inverts. Prerequisite: Pole Foundations workshop.
