Flying Buddha in the Media
COVID Update

At this time we offer online classes via zoom, in-studio classes, special workshops, and private classes. You must register online, no walk-ins please.

Please note, we follow Montgomery County for the latest COVID news and information. In 2020 we installed multiple UV-C lighting throughout our HVAC system to help purify the air and we are practicing strict cleaning and sanitation of common areas and equipment. For sanitation purposes we offer hammock rentals. Hammock kits are also available for those who want their own hammock or to practice from home. Please refer to our policies and procedures before coming to the studio for additional details.

If you’re new to the studio—we are glad you found us! Be sure to check out our new student specials and FAQs, and always feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about getting started.

Please note that you will learn to set up your lane, size your harness, and how to use and work with the bungee system. We will introduce you to a variety of movements with the bungee and link the movements together to create beginner sequences. The workshop will be a 30 minute set up, a 30 minute class, and a 15 min cool down. This experience will leave you feeling confident and ready for our bungee series!

What is bungee? Bungee is a high intensity, low impact workout on your joints that is a ton of fun! This apparatus requires a pack of bungee cords and a harness worn around the hips and waist to support a person while they move their body into various shapes and practice creative movements from leaping, bouncing, to lunges, push-ups, squats, handstands, jumps, etc. This cardiovascular workout will build coordination, strength, and endurance all while toning your body!

    Cost of workshop: $55

Float away with a unique and relaxing sound healing experience… in an aerial hammock!

In this 90 minute workshop, you will have the freedom to float and sway to the womb-like environment of the supportive, aerial yoga hammock. You’ll learn a few restorative aerial yoga poses, so that you can explore the most relaxing shapes for you during the workshop. Poses can be grounded or flying. After taking shape with the support of the aerial hammock, you’ll enjoy deep vibrational, highly tuned sounds from perfect-pitch crystal quartz singing bowls and chimes. These powerful vibrations can balance dissonant frequencies in the body, bringing them to harmony and creating feelings of relaxation and connection. Each bowl and tone represents a different energy system or chakra, for deeply healing effects. Bring your intentions and be prepared to float away into bliss. You’ll leave feeling refreshed and relaxed in a very unique way.

To tantalize your senses even further you may want to check out our weighted eye pillows.

This is an in-studio workshop. Space is limited to 18 people, please sign up in advance to save your space.
