Liquid Motion does not teach you to be sexy, it teaches you to be sensual, and proud of it.”

Students will learn the Liquid Motion techniques and fundamentals disguised in floor work, body conditioning, travel movement drills, intricate floor progressions, and of course, the exploration of Liquid Motion’s sensual movement. Focus on mothering yourself for a charge. This “Healing the Inner Mother” workshop challenges the mindset of “being everything for everyone”, “not letting the ball drop”, and “doing things right by others.”

In this workshop we will be training our nervous system to stay calm during times of struggle from the outside world. Here we will remember our strength and inner power while simultaneously allowing ourselves to let go of controlling the uncontrollable, and setting healthy boundaries with others.

In this 75 minute workshop, students are introduced to the Liquid Motion movement methodology. Liquid Motion is a method of sensual movement. “Sensual” is not synonymous with “Sexual”. Sensual movement is the “Activation of the senses to create total body awareness. The ability to fully understand how your body naturally moves and what that feels like will ultimately give you the fluidity and Liquid style you are looking for.

But the most important takeaway will be an understanding of total body awareness and an acceptance and love of oneself.

No dance experience necessary! Please bring knee pads.
