OUR PRACTICE

Aerial Yoga has you securely suspended in a hammock that lets you control how deep and far you want to go while gliding, you’ll merge asanas and breath for an experience that’s as exhilarating as it is empowering. From poses that improve alignment to supportive stretches that decompress your spine, Aerial Yoga takes a dynamic and safe approach to building strength, flexibility, balance, and stability.

If you’re new to aerial yoga please see our FAQs on how to get started.

Use the hammock to perform flips, tricks, and dance routines—a fun and dynamic way to explore movement. If you’re a first-timer or an expert of the practice, you’ll unleash the confidence and tenacity to do things you didn’t realize were possible.

If you’re new to aerial arts please see our FAQs on how to get started.

Aerial arts workshops, including Youth Aerial Dance and Youth Aerial Skills, are also available for kids ages 6 to 10 and tweens 11 and older. For guidance on where to begin, check out our FAQ: “My child is new to aerial yoga and aerial arts. Where do we start?”

The bungee apparatus is a new type of aerial fitness. This method is a high intensity, low impact workout on your joints that is a ton of fun! This apparatus requires a pack of bungee cords and a harness worn around the hips and waist to support a person while they move their body into various shapes and practice creative movements from leaping, bouncing, to lunges, push-ups, squats, handstands, jumps, etc. This cardiovascular workout will build coordination, strength, endurance and while toning your body!

The Great Yoga Wall enhances posture, flexibility, and strength while decompressing the spine. Its adjustable straps, swings, and bars provide support for deeper stretches, safe inversions, and improved mobility without strain. You just have to experience the unique traction and alignment benefits for yourself!

Strengthen your body, turn up the heat aerobically, and build your confidence with this total body workout! In our pole classes you will learn proper technique and alignment to move confidently around the pole. Check out our Workshops section for specialty pole workshops.

    Sundays, 1:30pm – 3pm

Navigating the world of Shibari can be daunting on many levels. This series offers a safe and supportive environment in which to explore the intersections of rope bondage – affirming you are not alone or at any disadvantage in choosing to “knot alone” at any stage of your rope practice.

Over the course of 8 weeks we will explore and unravel foundational knots, behaviors, binds and postures that will provide a fluid skill set applicable to any direction you choose to take your rope practice.

As we learn to recognize and master patterns and sequences in the rope that connect our mind and body, we will foster a connective community based on the care and consent that are non-negotiables in any healthy rope practice.

We will meet every other week in studio for 90 minutes and stay connected throughout on a private chat to share progress, give and receive feedback and support each other. Each Cohorts curriculum is fluid and interchangeable to suit interests and skill sets.

Prerequisite- Shibari for Self Connection or with permission from instructor @Feral.Binds

    Rope Kit requirement:

    1 10-15 foot hank

    2 30-40 foot hank

    1 pair safety shears

Twisted Monk Natural Hemp Rope Kits will be available for purchase on site from the instructor or choose your own at this link https://bit.ly/4kbi8Ep. Additional practice ropes may be made available during class to expand and explore application of binds.

Dress with personal comfort and level of sensory stimulation you’d like to experience in mind. A tank top and shorts are ideal. If you choose to experience the rope with your skin covered, tight fitting long sleeves/ leggings recommend.

This is a self tie led course, but you may bring a partner to tie/be tied by if you prefer. All participants must register and pay to attend.

Any questions on requirements or curriculum please contact your instructor Feralbinds@gmail.com or https://www.instagram.com/feral.binds
